Selah Grace Bailes

WELLSVILLE - Selah Grace Bailes, age 5, of Wellsville, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 8, 2021, following a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born December 18, 2015, in Steubenville, the daughter of Sam and Heather (Mick) Bailes.

Selah was a member of the Wellsville First Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, survivors include seven siblings: Monique Christy of Newell, WV, Brandon Bailes of Montana, Megan Bailes of Clinton, PA, Mickaela Allison of Wellsville, Logan Bailes of Wellsville, Amelia Bailes of Wellsville, and Gemalynn Bailes of Wellsville. Also surviving are Selah's maternal grandparents, Mark Mick and Milissa Petrella, as well as a large and loving extended family.

Selah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard and Dolores Bailes.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the The Center at Wellsville First Christian Church, 305 9th Street in Wellsville with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the The Center at Wellsville First Christian Church.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing protocols must be followed.
