Sharen Ann Lawrence

HAMMONDSVILLE - Sharen Ann Lawrence, 67, of Hammondsville, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born February 12, 1953, in Beaver, PA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Edith (Gibson) Adkins. In addition to her parents, Sharen was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Adkins.

Sharen attended Western Beaver High School. She was employed for sixteen years as a plant helper and cook for Sammis Power Plant. She was then employed at BK Beveridge in Salineville. Sharen enjoyed spending time at the beautiful homestead she built with her husband, Rick. She loved nature and watching all of the wildlife that would wander into their backyard, but she especially loved watching the hummingbirds. Sharen also enjoyed tending to her garden. Above all else, Sharen was a very loving grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of almost fifty years, Rick Lawrence, whom she married October 30, 1970; two daughters: Edie Erwin and her husband, Joe, of New Philadelphia, OH, and Rikki Brammer and her husband, James, of Poland, OH; and one sister, Pat Wilfing of Lancaster, OH. Also surviving are two granddaughters with whom Sharen loved to spend her time: Lia Lawrence and Morgan Brammer.

According to Sharen's wishes, no services will be held.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with her arrangements.
