Sharon Marie Hooper

IRONDALE - Sharon Marie Hooper, 65, of Irondale, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born May 16, 1956, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Carl W. Kent and Garnett (Davis) and Carl L. Russell. In addition to her parents and step-father, Sharon was preceded in death by one sister, Naomi Bartholomew, and one half-brother, Carl L. Russell.

Sharon was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She attended Desinty House Church.

Survivors include her husband, Perry Hooper, whom she married December 24, 1989; three daughters: Carol Felton of East Liverpool, Crystal Hooper of Columbus, and Gracie Moore of Steubenville; one sister, Carol Barber of Wellsville; one half-sister, Carolyn Stewart of GA; two brothers: Carl Kent of Wellsville and Ronald Kent of Steubenville; and one half-brother, Scott Russell of Chester, WV. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Hammondsville Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
