Sue Ellen Lysle (82) of Hammondsville Ohio, passed away under hospice care at East Liverpool City Hospital on June 29, 2023.

Born February 15, 1941 to Doris M. McGivern and Edward Patrick McGivern, Sue lived the majority of her life in the Hammondsville and Irondale area. She graduated from Irondale High School in 1959, earned her associates degree as an LPN

at Jefferson Technical College and continued her education at Kent State University in East Liverpool to become an RN. She worked as an LPN at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio and then as an RN at Potters Medical Center in East Liverpool and retired from East Liverpool City Hospital in 1998.

Sue was a baptized member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the East Liverpool Kingdom Hall.

Sue was married to Robert F. "Pat" Lysle for 53 years, who preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Dennis McGivern and Dean McGivern. She is survived by her children: Carla (Daniel)

Filbert of Irondale, Ohio, Bret Lysle of Salem, Ohio, and Chad (Natalie) Lysle of Irondale, Ohio; grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Dylon Filbert, Jason Baker, and Nadia Lysle; and two brothers: Michael McGivern of Sharon, PA and Patrick McGivern of Las Vegas, NV.

Per Sue's wishes, no services will take place. A private burial will take place at the family's discretion at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Sue's arrangements are entrusted to the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
