Sue Ellen Orr

WELLSVILLE - Sue Ellen Orr, 82, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Stone Pear Pavilion.

She was born February 7, 1940, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Ernest and Aletha (Clark) Whiteman.

Sue Ellen graduated from Wellsville High School in 1957. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles and worked at CA Bell. Following her return to Wellsville, Sue Ellen worked at Hillcrest Florist and later at Homer Laughlin China Company until her retirement in 1985.

Survivors include her husband, David Orr, whom she married in 1983; one daughter, Janice Gartland of West Point; and one sister, Linda (Ralph) Williams of Salem. Also surviving are two nieces: Tracey (Brian) Tolentino and Michelle (Rob) Weible, as well as one great-niece, Amber, and one great-nephew, Josh. Sue Ellen will also be sadly missed by her canine companion, Murphy.

According to Sue Ellen's wishes, no services will be held. Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with her arrangements.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
