Terry Lee "Ted" Newlan

WELLSVILLE - Terry Lee "Ted" Newlan, 77, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born September 12, 1944, in Wellsville, Ohio, the son of the late Harvey and Sara (Tice) Newlan. Terry was preceded in death on December 18, 2008, by his wife, Linda (Reese) Newlan, whom he married on June 26, 1973. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by five sisters: Nancy, Linda, Dora, Pauline, and Shirley; and four brothers: Larry, Frank, Chuck, and Bernard.

Terry graduated from Wellsville High School in 1966. He retired in 2004 from Sterling China Company where he worked as a packer. Terry loved to travel, especially to Daytona, FL. He also enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his grandchildren. Terry previously attended the Avondale Baptist Church in East Liverpool.

Survivors include one daughter, Denise Lake and her husband, Christopher, of Wellsville; one granddaughter, Natasha; and two great-grandchildren: Haleigh and Joshua.

According to Terry's wishes, no services will be held. The Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with his arrangements.
