Thomas Nelson Long

CLEARWATER - Thomas Nelson Long, 74, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born July 3, 1947, in East Liverpool, the son of the late J. Sherman and Martha Long. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by three sisters: Emma Jane Sabbato, Wanda Call, and Madeline Shilling.

Tom graduated from Wellsville High School in 1966. He was an electrician by trade and a member of the electrician's union.

Left to cherish his memory are one brother, Kenneth Long of Clearwater, FL, five nieces and two nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to Jody and Larry Brown who opened their home and hearts to care for Tom.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A celebration of Tom's life will be planned at a later date.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with Tom's arrangements.
