Thomas M. Redman, Sr.

WELLSVILLE - Thomas McCullan "Tom" Redman, Sr, 89, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born February 25, 1934, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late James and Viola (Gilmore) Redman. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by two daughters: Rhonda Greco and Sheila Redman; two sons: Tracey Redman and Thomas Redman, Jr; one step-daughter, Charmaine West; and one brother, James Redman.

Tom was a graduate of Petersburg High School. He worked as a foreman for Ohio Edison before retiring in 1996. He previously attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses but embraced other beliefs as well. Tom had a love for yard work, antique cars, and was also an avid fisherman. His favorite hobby was growing tomatoes in his garden. He was also a music lover who had his own music room in his home.

Survivors include his wife, Clarissa (Stewart) Redman, whom he married in 1982; one daughter, Crystal (Mohamed) Abdelkarim of Summerville, SC; one son, Randall "Rudy" Redman of East Liverpool; three step-daughters: Celeste West of East Liverpool; Lisa (Vincent) Smith of Canton, and Tammy (Jeff) Tanner of East Liverpool; and one step-son, Dale Anthony West of Tacoma, WA. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Roylin Petties of the Wellsville First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
