Victoria L. "Vickie" Board

WELLSVILLE - Victoria L. "Vickie" Board, 54, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, in the emergency room at East Liverpool City Hospital following an apparent heart attack.

She was born May 19, 1961, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Ralph and Iola Heffner. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by three brothers.

Vickie was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, baking, and cooking, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Michael E. Board, whom she married March 16, 1983; one daughter: Susie Mint and her husband, Brian, of Salem; two sons: Jason Heffner of Salineville, and Michael Board II and his wife, Courtney, of Leetonia; two step-daughters: Angie Carver and her husband, Brandon, and Amiee Board, both of GA; two sisters: Maria Douglass and her husband, Kevin, and Patty Geon and her husband, Don; and two brothers: Daniel Heffner and Ralph Heffner and his wife, Dorothy. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren including: Hayley and Kayley, Lil' Jason, Austin, Alee, Michael III, and Ezra; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Cilone of United Brethren in Christ Church officiating.

Burial will be in Hammondsville Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Roberts Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
