Vivian M. Morgan

EAST LIVERPOOL - Vivian Marcella Morgan, 96, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. Mary's Alzheimer Center in Columbiana.

She was born September 3, 1919, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Campbell) Maloney. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death on March 16, 1996, by her husband, Howard Morgan, whom she married November 24, 1947. She was also preceded in death by her son: Robert Morgan; three sisters: Dorothy Gogol, Gerri Cain, and Maxine Cunnungham; one brother: Chuck Maloney; one grandson: Scott Morgan; and one son-in-law: Jerry Kachur.

Vivian graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1937. She worked for Curtis-Wright Manufacturing before becoming a hairdresser at Dorothy Putnam Beauty Shop. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville and Holy Trinity Parish in East Liverpool.

Survivors include two daughters: Darlene Kachur of Guilford Lake, and Suzanne McDevitt and her husband, Mike, of Coraopolis, PA; one sister: Marilyn Hoepfl of Avon Lake, OH; one brother: Irvin Maloney of Fountain Hills, AZ; and one daughter-in-law: Theresa Morgan Betz of Wellsville. Also surviving are five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

The Catholic Funeral Rites will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Roberts Funeral Home.

Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
