WELLSVILLE - Wilanna V. "Willie" Morehead, 105, of South Lyon, MI, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at her daughter's home in Michigan.

She was born November 22, 1918, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Bert and Pearl (Roach) Baker. In addition to her parents, Willie was preceded in death on November 19, 1980, by her first husband, James H. Culp, whom she married in 1938, and on October 26, 2001, by her second husband, Robert N. Morehead, whom she married in 1986. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Geraldine LaClair, as well as by three sisters and two brothers.

Willie was employed as a nurse's aide for twenty years. She was a member of the Wellsville Lady Elks and a lifetime member of the Wellsville VFW Post 5647 Women's Auxiliary. Willie was also a member of the Living Well Church.

Survivors include three children: Bonnie Kane of South Lyon, MI, William J. Culp of Wellsville, and Ralph Culp of Lancaster, OH. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
