William H. "Bill" Davidson

WELLSVILLE - William H. "Bill" Davidson, 66, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born August 21, 1953, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Audrey (Powell) and Harry V. Davidson, Jr. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death on December 3, 1987, by his daughter, Audrey Lane Davidson.

Bill graduated from Wellsville High School in 1971, and he served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed in the maintenance department for the former Crucible Steel Mill and Allegheny Ludlum. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 70.

Survivors include two sons: James Paul Davidson of Mesa, AZ, and William Joshua "Josh" Davidson of Wellsville; one sister, Jackie Perry of Hooper, UT; and two brothers: Harry V. "Cork" Davidson of Wellsville and Robert Davidson of Columbus. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Elizabeth-Marie Harley Davidson, Paul Raymond Davidson, Eric Jennings II, Sarah Ann Grace Davidson, Kailey Davidson, and Laela Davidson.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating. The Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors.
