WELLSVILLE - William J. "Bill" Miller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, teacher, and coach, passed away suddenly on the evening of Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Kenneth and Marcella K.; a brother, Kenny; and a sister, Janet Poole. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Hudson Miller; his sisters: Sally Prince and Gail Grimm; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill loved his family unconditionally. His sons: Jason, Devin (Erica), Jeremy (Natalee), and Derek (Jessica), were his life. He was so proud of his grandchildren. To Sydney and Desiree Boardwine, Pvt. 1st Class Jacob Miller, Alex, Ben, Kate, Reese, Cooper, Asher, Collin, Braedyn, Rylee, and Ella, he was PapPap, the man, the myth, the legend. We all will miss his sense of humor, positive encouragement, hugs, candy, PapPap-isms, and endless love.

Bill retired from teaching at Wellsville schools in 2009. He also coached varsity girls basketball, and more recently, girls elementary basketball at Beaver Local.

The family thanks 911 dispatch, Wellsville Police Department, Lifeteam, and the ER staff at River Valley Hospital.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville was entrusted with Bill's care.
