William E. Witherstine

HAMMONDSVILLE - William E. Witherstine, 77, of Hammondsville, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at home following a two year illness.

He was born February 8, 1935, in Youngstown, OH., a son of the late Walter and Ann (Fullerman) Witherstine.

He was self-employed as a truck driver .

Survivors include his wife, Pamela S. Chapman, whom he married August 27, 1992; two daughters: Bonnie (Mike) Creider of Millersburg, OH. and Melissa (John) Cavarella of Boardman, OH; one son: Terry Witherstine of West Virginia; two stepdaughters: Peggy (Brad) Hart of North Ridgeville, OH. and Terri Chapman of Salem; four sisters: Mildred Moore of New York, Rosemary McGuire of Austintown, OH., Rita Bergner of Fillmore, TX., and Margie Nead of Columbiana, OH; three brothers: Donald Witherstine of North Carolina, Ed Witherstine of Alabama, and Leroy Witherstine of Salem, OH; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Witherstine, Jr., preceded him in death.

In honor of his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.

The Roberts Funeral Home, Wellsville, is in charge with the arrangements.
