Wylie K. Boley

WELLSVILLE - Wylie K. Boley, 65, of Wellsville, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA.

He was born April 28, 1949, in Steubenville, the son of the late Robert J. and Patsy (Hayes) Boley.

Wylie graduated from Wellsville High School in 1968. He was employed for thirty-one years as a cement finisher with Local 809 in Steubenville and Local 179 in Youngstown, and also for twenty years at M&A Concrete. He was an avid outdoorsman, a member of Salsbury Sportsman Club, and was well known as the "Buck Master". Wylie was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan. He was a member Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Sonya Davis of Wellsville; one sister: Patty Boley of Wellsville; and one brother: Robert Boley and his wife, Debbie, of Empire; and Ricky McCauley, whom he raised. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Brittney and Braden Davis, as well as one niece, three nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wylie was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Boley.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm today at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
