Zain Zackariah Zion Harmon

IRONDALE - Zain Zackariah Zion Harmon, 22, of Irondale, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at his home following a seizure.

He was born July 26, 1999, in Asheboro, North Carolina, the son of Angela (McDaniels) Harmon of Irondale and Gary David Harmon of North Carolina.

Zain enjoyed cooking meals for his mom and kept the house tidy. He was unable to work due to his seizures, but he did everything he could to help his mom at home. He was Independent Fundamental Baptist by faith.

Survivors include one sister, MeKayla Walden and her husband, RJ, of Liberty, NC; and three brothers: Brittan Harmon of Summerfield, NC, Dacota McDaniels and his significant other, Tracey, of Trinity, NC, and Joshua Randolph of Florida. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins in North Carolina.

Zain was preceded in death nineteen days earlier by his niece, Ezra Mae Brady Walden. He was also preceded in death by one brother, LA Alston, and all of his grandparents.

A private family service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.

Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with Zain's arrangements.
