The Roberts Funeral Home has been family owned and operated since 1972. Previously the Haugh Funeral Home (1880 -1973), we have been at our location at 631 Main Street since 1924. The funeral home was operated by first generation funeral directors, Bill and June Roberts, for 18 years before they turned it over to their son, Bill, in 1990.
We pride ourselves in the dedicated services we provide to all of our families. At Roberts Funeral Home, we can arrange for and provide all types of funeral services, from direct burial or cremation to a traditional funeral service with calling hours, and everything in between. We are skilled at handling out-of-state and international death calls, and we are the only local funeral home to have handled arrangements for a victim of the 9/11 terror attacks on the United States.
The funeral home itself was built in 1905 by a contractor for his own personal home. It has 28 rooms on three floors. The main floor is used for the visitation and funerals. We have one main viewing room in the front of the funeral home, and a second, private viewing room in the rear of the funeral home. We also have a separate building that can be used for calling hours and funerals and can seat approximately 250 people in one room. We use that same building for making arrangements and are pleased to be able to offer a casket showroom with approximately fifteen full-size caskets. We feel it is very important for our families to see and touch the full casket. All of our facilities are handicap accessible. Recently, we purchased and raised four buildings across Main Street to be able to construct a parking lot for our families.
Through the support of the community, Roberts Funeral Home is able to award numerous scholarships each year to graduating seniors from Wellsville High School to assist with their college education. We are also able to support local schools, community organizations, and individuals making a difference in our community through monetary donations.
Our primary focus is caring for your family. During your time of need, we do everything possible to make the process simple and stress-free. We keep administrative details to a minimum so you can focus on what matters most: honoring your loved one. Whenever you call—24 hours a day, seven days a week—you will always speak directly with us, never an answering service.

- Pre-Arrangements: Advance planning that ensures your final wishes are documented and relieves your family of emotional and financial burdens later. We offer both pre-funded plans and options funded at the time of service.
